A shared vision in bettering local communities and investing into youth centres lead, English professional football player, Marcus Rashford MBE and Burberry to partner together and unveil this campaign to celebrate community, creativity and the voices of the future. The campaign creates a community and brings together creative spheres from fashion, dance and sport. “This campaign is about looking forwards, looking to the future – inspired by youth, it brings together a community of different talents and worlds as one.” Explains Riccardo Tisci, Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer.
Created in collaboration with Megaforce, the campaign unlocks this idea, moving the viewer from the everyday to the extraordinary, allowing them to explore a new fantasy. Dancing their way through London’s Petticoat Lane – avoiding an unusually large hailstorm – each dancer showcasing their characters, personalities and their hopes and dreams. With choreography by (LA)HORDE, the campaign follows four young dancers, dressed in recycled nylon puffer jackets, diamond-quilted jackets, Burberry’s iconic trench coat and the new Pocket Bag. Featuring Marcus Rashford MBE in his debut fashion campaign, dynamic images of models and dancers mirror the viewpoint of the campaigns film.
